ELGT 2014 Music & Arts Appreciation Festival

August 16 - 17, 2014
Thompson Park Amphitheater
2626 Parkway Avenue
East Liverpool, Ohio 43920

The 2014 East Liverpool's Got Talent Music & Arts Appreciation Festival was sincerely the start of a great thing!!!! It recognized many of our locally talented artists with performances by US3, Brad Gibson, Dr. Bob Walker, Bill Crawford, Dave Morgan, AcouzmA,, Scott Cook, Rumors, MRM, Doug & Dave, Fatality Risen, Dennis Kinsey, Mikey Murder & the Witnesses, Lucy Harris, Extreme Vocal Experience, HEAF, Gracie LaScola, Kent Cox, Gregg Harding, Snow Diddley & Katman Kev, Memories of Sunday, Awake the Dawn, Nakita Maria Hedrick, John Hedrick, and many others.

This first festival brought our own Kent Cox and Sharyn Vinci together with Wendy Walker, Director of the Henry Mancini Arts Academy. This union led to the production of "American Veteran," the theme song for the academy's HEROES Project which was written and performed by Kent and Sharyn. We are so proud! East Liverpool and its surrounding areas has so much talent! We have no doubt that our upcoming festivals will unite many other talented individuals with awesome project opportunities! Check out the Henry Mancini Arts Academy "HEROES" Project and the "American Veteran" video.

We want to thank everyone who participated, including all those that performed, signed up as vendors, volunteered their help, and/or sponsored the event in any way! Did we have a blast or what? It will keep getting better and better each year. 2015 will bring many surprises!

Plans are already in the making to expand the concert next year with the emphasis on newer talent, and possibly including a musical talent show for our area youth. Artists of all kinds will be included in next year's event, covering everything from crafts to fine arts to photography and beyond. Check out the "Concert" page regularly for updates, including the concert schedule. Check out the "Festival Vendors" page regularly to see a list of who will be participating.

We are so excited about this and want everyone to be involved. Whether you are a locally talented musician wanting to be included in the show, crafter wanting to sell your stuff, artist of any kind wanting to show off your talent, youth group or club wanting to set up a booth to raise money, or just want to volunteer your time as an event "associate" by helping the bands on stage, passing out show programs, selling raffle tickets and t-shirts, and/or clean-up - We Want To Hear From You! To show your interest, please use the links listed under "Get Involved."

The East Liverpool’s Got Talent Music & Arts Appreciation Festival is a free annual event for all to enjoy! However, there are expenses involved with an event of this size. While there is a small fee for all vendors to set up at the event, other ways to sponsor are available. Please check out the "Sponsorship" page for more information!
