East Liverpool’s Got Talent is putting together it’s very own band under the direction of Billy Moffett.

Billy is a 2011 graduate of East Liverpool High School and has been playing percussion instruments for the past 15 years. He attends Grace City Church where he plays drums for the worship team.  He is also a member of the Fire Youth Miniseries Worship Team,  as well as a member of the Fire Leadership Team. Additionally, he is now the New Director for The ELGT Band.

Billy is an awesome musician and just as excited about this new adventure as the rest of us at ELGT.  We feel his expertise, musicianship, personality, passion and excitement makes him the perfect person for the role of Band Director.

Bands that have influenced Billy are Aerosmith, Def Leopard, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Guns and Roses, and Michael Jackson. Outside of music, Billy designs logos using Photoshop for fun.

Billy’s favorite quote is “If you can dream it, you can do it” by Walt Disney.

The ELGT Band wants to give back to the community by getting kids passionate for music and encourage them to always chase their dreams and to go after what they are passionate about.

The ELGT Band will practice at the center every Friday starting on December 22, 2017 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.

All information pertaining to the ELGT Band can be found on this page, including sheet music, song lyrics, video and/or audio, as well as announcements pertaining to cancellations, schedule changes and so on.

Any high school students who play an instrument and are interested in becoming a member of the band are welcome and encouraged to contact Billy for more information at 330-843-6398 or email at bmoffty@gmail.com.
