Missy Elliott

Although Missy Elliott was born and raised in Kansas, her father's family is from the local area, and she spent a few years of her childhood living near Salem. She graduated high school in 1986 and attended Community College where she was credited with several hours, but says she still hasn’t decided what she wants to be when she grows up, so she has yet to graduate.

Missy has been happily married to Chuck Elliott since 2003, has one daughter, Tessa (24) who she loves and adores. Missy and Chuck returned to our hometown in 2011 and have loved meeting and getting to know so many artistic, talented people from the area.

Missy brings a wealth of knowledge to ELGT from her prior experience as an active volunteer for the Wheatland Jam Music Festival (Kansas). She was responsible for providing hospitality to national and local music recording stars and their crews with their quarters, and insuring their contract conditions were met. Missy also has many years in the business, accounting and medical fields and is looking forward to putting this experience to work as the contact for our vendors.
