Our goal for 2019 is to continue to raise the funds needed to purchase permanent LED lighting for Thompson Park’s Outdoor Amphitheater.

This lighting will be installed inside the amphitheater, on the outside front for crowd and seat lighting and on the back for lighting that will shine from the back of the amphitheater down the road towards the bottom of the park.

While we will be scheduling fundraising events to help reach our goal, we welcome any and all donations for this project. The total cost of this project is $5000 which will cover all the lights, wiring and installation.

ELGT’s future goals include raising the funds needed to apply even more updates to Thompson Park’s outdoor amphitheater with individual projects throughout the years to come.

It is our hope to see the amphitheater transformed into a state-of-the-art facility that all local organizations and beyond will utilize for great events such as movies, plays, choir and band concerts, which in turn will not only provide great things for our community to do but also bring lots of traffic and tourists to our area who will patronize our local businesses.
