2014 Participant Information

All volunteers MUST report to the ELGT information booth upon arrival so we can tell you where to go and what to do and those of you who do not already have your staff shirts and top level parking permits can pick them up.

Free bottled water will be available at all times during the event for all volunteers and free food will be available for all volunteers in the ELGT information booth at the following times:

Saturday
12:30 P.M. - Compliments of Burger King
4:30 P.M. - Compliments of The Hotdog Shoppe

Sunday
12:30 P.M. - Compliments of McDonalds
4:30 P.M. - Compliments of Pizza Hut

All Art and Food Vendors are permitted to set up their empty tents, tables, and food trucks at 6:00 P.M. on Friday. This is only an option and many of you have responded that you will be there at this time to do just that.

All Art and Food Vendors MUST report to the top entrance of the park between 6:30 A.M. - 7:00 A.M. regardless of whether or not you set up your empty tents the night before. Our goal is to have the vendor set up and ready to serve the public by 9:00 A.M. on Saturday! Those of you wanting placed next to each other should get together and plan to set up your empty tents on Fiday at 6:00 P.M. Otherwise, we cannot promise that will happen. The top entrance to the park is accessible using Park Blvd from Saint Clair Avenue.

Art Vendors, please bring your Chinese Auction Donations to the ELGT information booth! Please, by all means, include your businesscards and/or brochures or any other advertisement you'd like with your donated items for the winner. If those of you donating baskets could type a list of contents to place on your basket, it would be very helpful. We are very thankful for your support with this!

All Public Spectators are asked to please park on the football/soccor field at the foot of the park, located below pavilion #3 and next to the small pavilion #4. This parking lot is accessible from the road directly in front of the Big Rock. It is important that we reserve as much space as we can in the top inside and outside parking lots for the handicapped, volunteers, and vendors because they need easy access. Some will be leaving and coming back for supplies.

Public parking can be accessed by entering the bottom entrance of Thompson Park from Anderson Blvd. Please look for the signs. Parkway is undergoing some major construction. We are hoping that is done in time for next week. However, we doubt it.

We ask all vendors, performers, and public spectators to please help us keep Thompson Park clean. We have many volunteers but this is something we can all do together! If you are a vendor and you see garbage on the ground near your area, PLEASE pick it up and put it in the nearest trash can. If all vendors keep their area clean, it will help make clean-up at the end of the festival, much easier.

We ask all public spectators to help keep the park clean as well! If you see garbage on the ground, please pick it up and place it in the nearest trash can.

If we all work together, we can make this event an enormous success! We did not put this event together for just us! We did it for you as well! So please take part in helping us keep the park clean!

Together We Can Do Amazing Things!!!!!!!
