LeeanneRidgley

I am LeeAnne Marie Ridgley. I am 18 years old and was born in East Liverpool in 97′. I have moved back and forth a lot in my life but I always end up right back here in East Liverpool. I am a college student at Kent State, as well as a senior in high school. High school was not challenging enough so I opted out to do college for college and high school credit. I wanted a more mature, challenging and enriching environment to learn and grow in. I am very happy with my decisions as I love the college atmosphere.

I love spending time with my family and friends, listening to music, just enjoying life and making the best out of any given situation. I listen to almost all genres of music. Music and art have always been a part of my life and always will be. Music and drawing were some of my main escapes growing up. Then I also got really big into photography. photography is one of my biggest interests along with psychology and helping others. I major in psychology and minor in business at Kent State and eventually will continue on that path as I enter graduate school to achieve my PhD in psychology. I chose my major because I want to help people, especially kids like myself who have had a troubled past. I love dedicating my time to helping others.

When I attended Beaver Local I had over 120 hours of community service my freshman year alone, through various ways such as tutoring, cleaning, volunteering with fundraisers and other events, etc. I like volunteering my time to people and great causes such as this one. I would love to see this continue to grow and help the East Liverpool community. The youth in this community could really use productive programs such as music and art programs to keep them interested and in an enriching environment. This can also help people give back to their community and set good standards and values for the youth in this as well as other communities. Lets bring back some real pride to the East Liverpool community. After all, “Together we can do amazing things.”
