ELGT is always looking for ideas that pertain to programs and projects we can create for music and art.  We want to raise money for things that the entire community can benefit from. We are sure that all of you will come up with some interesting ideas that we may never have thought of.

In 2015 we spear-headed an online GoFundMe Campaign that raised enough money in two days to purchased a new (used) set of base drums for the East Liverpool High School Marching Band Drumline.  We also tried starting a Children’s Choir, which was put on hold because there was no heat in the facility we were using to meet for practices.  The Children’s Choir will get underway as soon as we find a home of our own.  Please stay tuned for that information to be posted in the future.

This year we are working hard to raise enough money to purchase a theatrical curtain with a track system that will be donated to Thompson Park for the Outdoor Amphitheater.  The amount needed to ensure this project succeeds is $3000.

Any ideas for programs like the Children’s Choir and projects like the Thompson Park Theatrical Curtain, as well as fundraiser ideas that will help make such programs and projects come to be are greatly appreciated.
